When your vehicle is stuck and cannot move under its own power, describe the situation to Angel and George Towing. We offer vehicle recovery for cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks stuck in snow, mud, or ditches in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
We are based in Columbia Heights and available 24/7, including holidays. Call or text 612-282-1645 with your location and vehicle details to discuss the recovery request, an arrival estimate, and a quote before dispatch.
Tell us where and how the vehicle is stuck
Recovery requests vary considerably. A vehicle stuck near a driveway entrance presents different access questions from one down an embankment or surrounded by deep mud. A useful description helps us understand the conditions before a truck is sent.
When you contact us, tell us:
- Your exact location and the easiest way to identify it.
- The vehicle’s year, make, and model.
- Whether it is stuck in snow, mud, or a ditch.
- Whether it is upright and whether you can reach it.
- How far it is from the road or another accessible surface.
- Whether there is visible damage or anything obstructing access.
If you can safely take photos from where you are, you can text them along with your description. Do not put yourself in danger to get a closer picture.
Recovery and towing are different needs
Getting a vehicle out of a stuck position does not necessarily mean it is ready to drive. If your vehicle also needs transportation after recovery, tell us where you would like it taken. We offer flatbed towing and can discuss both parts of the request before dispatch.
If you are uncertain about the vehicle’s condition, explain what you know. You do not need to diagnose the problem before calling. The important details are its location, position, access, and any apparent damage.
Discuss the price and access conditions first
A $40 surcharge applies for difficult recovery or difficult access; holiday service is also subject to a $40 surcharge. Ask us to confirm which surcharge conditions apply and the total quoted charge for your situation before dispatch. The complete request matters, particularly when recovery and towing are both needed.
Arrival estimates based on actual conditions
Traffic, weather, location, and current availability affect arrival estimates. We will provide an estimated arrival time and updates about delays rather than promise an exact arrival we cannot guarantee.
We do not tow semi-trucks. For larger pickups or an unusual recovery situation, provide the vehicle details and conditions so we can confirm whether we can handle the request. Call or text 612-282-1645 to get started.
